If you missed the first half of this wedding, make sure to head over here first! There were just too many favorites to fit into one post! On a rainy day of wedding vows, friends, dancing, and a breathtaking sunset to finish it, this wedding was stunning and heartfelt all the way through.
There were so many details to celebrate the new shared last name, Peace! The bridal party had to get in on the fun :-)
Since the heavy downpour had forced the ceremony inside, we stopped by the pond, the original ceremony location, for a few shots. All the bottles hanging (and on the tables at the reception) had all been found and collected by the Peace family over the years.
This tree, which blew over in a storm just before the wedding, was a favorite of Jonathan’s growing up. There were still apples hanging from the branches though and the sweeping limbs across the grass were beautiful.
All the grandchildren with the grandfather. These photos are so important.
When Jonathan and Madeline first met me, they talked about getting a sunset picture in a field across the road from the family farm. They had spent many evenings together in this field watching the sunset and hoped to get a picture at a place that was so meaningful for them. After a steady downpour and full cloudy skies all day, it seemed the sunset picture just wouldn’t happen. But after a quick trip outside for some kid-related activities, I glanced over the tent to see these fiery reflections on the wet pavement and we ran to the field. Can you believe this sunset?!
