Each wedding this year has simply been amazing and every night I head home feeling incredibly blessed to be a part of these weddings. Jon and Julia’s Heinz Chapel wedding was no exception and went above and beyond. Their day was filled with faith and family and moments that were a privelege to capture on my camera to give back to them forever. There were personalized details showing off their strong Italian and Polish heritage like perogies and pastas for dinner, and DIY signs and details everywhere! But the best parts of this day were the emotions that showed throughout, from their first prayer together to the father-daughter dance during the reception. Jon and Julia, I was so excited to be part of your wedding day!
Just a few minutes after getting ready, Julia spent a few minutes alone with her parents for portraits and it became such an emotional special moment.
Instead of a “first look” Julia and Jon prayed together before the ceremony
Everyone walked to Heinz Chapel!
All the DIY signs around the reception. Jenna and I loved the sign we found in the bathroom so much that I had to take a picture!
For each dance, (mother and son, bride and groom, or father and daughter) Jon and Julia had the creative idea to invite their guests out on the floor part way through.
Someone tried to replace Jenna as my assitant for the night :-) The little ringbearer was so facinated that he could take pictures of “Aunt” Julia and followed me around most of the evening. After every shutter click he would yell “I take a picture!” and give me a high five.
Jon definitely photobombed our picture :-)
